Eddie Novacheck
Taylor is actually the second actor to play the part
of Eddie. You can hear him on Albums #3 - #5.
How do you like playing the role of Eddie?
Playing Eddie was one of the most fun characters I have ever played. We all have a friend like Eddie. The lovable nerd
who likes to make people laugh, and enjoys food once in a while. OK, with Eddie maybe a little more than once in a
while. It was fun playing him because even as I flew through my high school years (I finished the show as a
sophomore) I still got to play the fun, youthful Eddie, speak the truth about the creation message, and still be a kid
behind the microphone. It was a little awkward at times though, because I started the series when I was in eighth
grade, and my voice was un-changed, but now going into my Junior year of high school, it’s a little harder to reach the
“Eddie” level in my voice that I started with in the audition.

When did you first decide to follow the Lord?
Well, the first time I ever accepted the Lord was actually listening to Adventures in Odyssey one night in my room, I
think I was in 6th grade. There was a little segment at the end where the radio DJ at the station did a mini altar call,
and he asked if we knew Jesus, and if we had accepted Him into our heart. Well, I didn’t know Jesus yet, but I knew
who He was, and I finally was at the age where I understood what He had done for me on the cross, and wanted Him
in my life. So, I accepted Him into my heart, and got baptized a month later after making my own decision to. It was one
of the best moments of my life.

Your favorite verse?
It’s so hard to pick out a favorite verse, but I would have to say one of my favorites is 1 Peter 4:10 “Each one should
use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms”. This is
one of my favorites because no matter how talented we think we are, or how smart we think we are, this verse still
reminds us that God gave us our gifts, and we should always use them for His glory, not ours.

Tell us about what it's like to work with the other actors...
I have made great friends through this Jonathan Park project. Before the project I was already good friends with
Courtney Evans and her mom who play Katie and Angela Park, but I didn’t know anyone. After the first recording I could
tell I would like it because everyone was so welcoming and truly displayed a Christian attitude and accepted me as if I
had been there for the previous season.
