Toward the beginning of Mystery at McBane
Manor \there is a scene in which Jana sings a
hymn in Church. The song lyrics were written by
Sandy Roy. Then, Jessica actually sang that
song in a Church in Alabama. She listened to a
"rough-cut" of the tune on "walkman"
headphones as she sung into the Church's P.A.
system (to give it a realistic Church sound) as
her father, Tim McMahon recorded her. Her
tracks were then sent to Julie Flanagan
(Donald's mother) in San Diego. Julie composed
the organ to match Jessica's cadence. The music
and voice tracks were then mixed and included in
that early scene of Mystery at McBane Manor. If
you listen closely, the lyrics to the song actually
solve the mystery of Elizabeth McBane!
